How I get results


I pride myself on taking the time to listen and understand the unique circumstances and background of every client.  I am yet to find two people with the same story, and believe that the key to success is focussing on the individual. I create tailor-made, professional treatment plans and supply clients with tools to help them in everyday life, including supplementary hypnosis recordings.

Why did I choose hypnotherapy?

Funnily enough, the answer is that I didn't!  When I was 30 I decided that by the time I was 40 I wanted to be doing something that contributed to people’s health and happiness.  My aim was to become a counsellor, but by chance the training body I signed up to offered hypnotherapy training in the first year and it sounded fascinating.  I had such an amazing experience whilst training I decided to pursue hypnotherapy as my career.  The clincher for me was seeing fast results being arrived at largely through relaxation, and experiencing the results myself.  The next step was naturally to set up my own business, working from my comfortable treatment room in my home around the corner from beautiful St George Park. I’ve had the most fantastic time helping people achieve their goals with hypnotherapy over the years, and really feel like I am doing what I should be doing. I achieved my goal, and am so glad I took action. Now, I help people take action to achieve their goals (whilst coming up with new ones for me, of course!).

How I enjoy life

I absolutely love living and working in Bristol, to me it's a bubble of sense and innovation.  Having said that, it's also been wonderful working with people all over the country via Zoom recently.  I love nature, animals, running, walking, cycling and yoga; and disappearing into a book.  Recently I’ve taken up sewing with a mind to make my own clothes but it is very much a work in progress!  I also indulge in the odd Netflix series of an evening, too!
